Our firm, with the invaluable assistance of New Mexico appellate lawyer Jane Yohalem, secured a victory for our client in the New Mexico Court of Appeals regarding a supersedeas bond issue. A trial judge required our client to post a $100,000 bond pending an appeal. We were able to convince the court of appeals to overrule the trial court and to not require our client to post bond because our client was not in possession of the real property at issue.
